My Infertility Timeline

1/2011      Officially started trying to conceive.

3/16/11     BFP! (around 18 dpo [CD 33], but not temping or using OPKs, so can’t be sure)

5/3/11       No heartbeat heard at first prenatal visit. Ultrasound confirms no heartbeat.

5/5/11        Took Cytotec to induce miscarriage. Miscarriage completed. HCG levels tracked weekly.
HCG levels:
5/5 – 20,000+
5/12 – 1,151
5/19 – 166
5/26 – 44
6/2 – 20
6/10 – 9
6/17 – 6
6/23 – 5
6/30 – 3
7/6 – 2 (final test)

7/22/11      Thyroid blood test normal; thyroid cyst benign

5/16/12      Husband’s semen analysis good. HSG clear.

6/11/12      Clomid 100 mg, no monitoring (with OB)

7/12/12      Clomid 100 mg. Monitoring u/s shows large hemorrhagic cyst. Trigger cancelled.

8/7/12        Ruptured cyst. Clomid on hold until cyst issue resolved.

9/21/12      Another fucking cyst.

10/3/12      Laparoscopy/hysteroscopy to remove hemorrhagic cyst and check uterus/tubes – Diagnosed with severe (Stage IV) endometriosis

10/29/12    Initial consultation with RE

11/15/12    1st Femara cycle: 5 mg/day for 10 days total (initial response not good). BFN

12/17/12    Femara 10 mg/day, estrogen, trigger

1/14/13      Femara 10mg/day; trigger; estrogen and progesterone through end of cycle

2/6/13        Femara, estrogen, trigger, progesterone

3/12/13      Another Femara cycle, no estrogen needed, trigger, progesterone

4/13/13      Break cycle

5/9/13        Break cycle

6/8/13        Break cycle, tonsillectomy

7/2/13        AF shows early (day after tonsillectomy; thanks a pantload, universe), so another break cycle

8/10/13      IUI cycle… finally!

9/10/13      Next step: IVF, natural cycle

10/14/13    Started birth control

11/22/13    Started stims

12/1/13      Tentative date for IVF retrieval and transfer

12/19/13    BFP!!
